While Tesla is relatively new to the car industry, in comparison to Ford and Toyota, Tesla is not without lemon cars hitting the market. From faulty falcon wing doors on the model X, to blacked out infotainment screens, to driveability issues and faulty electric batteries, Teslas that are brought in by their owners multiple times with the same issues and they are not being properly or permanently repaired can and may qualify as a lemon under California Lemon laws.
